Independent RN Wellness Checks

She took care of you. Now let's make sure someone's watching over her.

I'm Seth, a licensed Registered Nurse — 15 years in healthcare, the last 5 as an RN. I visit your loved one in person at their care facility and send you an honest, unbiased report within 24 hours — because I work for your family, not the facility.

No obligation to start. Most first visits are scheduled within 2–3 days.

Simple, Honest, Fast

How a Check-In Works

Three steps, start to finish — no facility paperwork, no waiting on hold.

01

Tell me about your loved one

Share their name, facility, and what's been on your mind. Takes about two minutes.

02

I visit in person

I go to the facility, observe their care and surroundings, and check in on how they're really doing.

03

You get the truth, fast

A clear written report with notes and photos within 24 hours — good news or concerns, no sugar-coating.

What I Check, Every Visit

The Same Checklist That's in Your Paperwork

Nothing here is guesswork — every item below is written into the service agreement you sign, so you know exactly what you're paying for.

Medication review

What's prescribed compared against what's documented as given. Any gap or discrepancy is flagged the same day.

Skin & mobility

Checked for bedsores, swelling, bruising, or early signs of skin breakdown.

Vitals & weight

Reviewed against the facility's own log and prior visits, when available.

Hygiene & grooming

Personal care, clothing, and daily living needs observed firsthand.

Mood & engagement

How they're really doing — talked to directly, not just observed from the doorway.

Room & environment

Cleanliness, safety, and whether the posted care plan matches what's actually happening.

This is observation and documentation, not medical diagnosis or treatment. Anything urgent is escalated to the facility and your family right away.

Pricing

Simple, Upfront Pricing

Why Independent

A Second Set of Eyes, On Your Side

No conflict of interest

Facility-employed staff answer to the facility. I answer only to your family.

A trained clinical eye

15 years in healthcare — the last 5 as an RN — means I notice what a phone call can't tell you: skin integrity, hydration, mood, medication compliance.

Peace of mind between visits

Can't get there yourself every week? I'm your eyes and ears on the ground.

Documented, not just described

Photos and written notes you can reference later — not just a reassuring phone call.

"I've spent my career at the bedside. I know what good care looks like — and what it looks like when corners get cut. My promise is simple: I'll tell your family the truth, every time."

Questions

Frequently Asked

Is this a replacement for the facility's care?

No. This is an independent second set of eyes — a way to verify your loved one is getting the care you're paying for, and to catch small problems before they become big ones.

How much does a check-in cost?

Flat rates, no hourly billing — see the full pricing breakdown above. Visits range from $125–$250 depending on urgency and whether it's a one-time check or a recurring plan. If you're outside the core service area, I'll confirm any small mileage add-on before scheduling.

How fast can you visit?

Most first check-ins are scheduled within 2–3 days of your request. If the situation is urgent, tell me and I'll do my best to move faster.

Is this confidential?

Yes. Everything I observe and report stays between your family and me.

Do you work with all types of facilities?

Assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and board-and-care homes. If you're not sure your situation fits, just ask.
